Australia invites 385 individuals to the recent Canberra Matrix Invitation Round

Canberra held its invitation round on April 5th, 2024 inviting 385 individuals. Invitations were sent to candidates who qualified for visa subclasses 491 and 190. Whereas 245 and 140 invitations were sent out for visa subclass 491.
A unique score-based Canberra Matrix points system is used by the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) of Canberra to identify eligible registrants who are interested in relocating to and working in the ACT.
During regular Canberra Matrix invitation sessions, the local government invites the most qualified candidates to submit nomination applications. Within 14 days of receiving an invitation, candidates must submit an online application, any necessary supporting papers, and a processing fee to the ACT. The nominee may apply for permanent residence with the DHA if they are approved.
