In the latest BC PNP draw, the province of British Columbia accepted 192 applications. On February 27, 2024, the eighth BC PNP draw of the year took place. The draw was made toward jobs in childcare, construction, healthcare, tech, and veterinary care to alleviate the labour shortage. British Columbia established the BC PNP economic pathway to attract skilled labour and provide a pathway for those seeking permanent residence in Canada.
The invited candidates have 30 days to complete and submit their nomination forms. The BC PNP drawings had scores ranging from 65 to 108. The International Graduate, Skilled Worker, and EEBC streams comprised the candidates who received invitations.

What is the eligibility criteria to apply for skilled workers?
The eligibility criteria for Skilled Worker Stream are as follows:
1. The candidate needs to have a full-time, permanent work offer with no expiration date from a B.C. PNP.
2. The applicant must meet the requirements for the position for which they have been offered and have a job that falls within NOC (National Occupational Classification) categories 0, 1, 2, or 3.
3. A minimum of two years of full-time experience in NOC categories 0, 1, 2, or 3 (or an equivalent amount of experience).
4. You must fulfil the minimal standards for linguistic proficiency.
5. The wage rates in British Columbia for the particular occupation should be in line with your offer.
6. Give evidence of your ability to support yourself and any dependents financially.
7. Your employer must accept your application and fulfil specific conditions.
