In the fifth PEI EOI draw of 2024 held on 21st March 2024, the province published 85 invitations where 2 invitees were for Business and Work permit entrepreneurs where the minimum points were 80 while 83 applicants for Labour and Express Entry gave invitations to individuals working in the Healthcare, Construction, and Manufacturing sector.

What are the requirements for the PEI PNP draw?

All pertinent applicant data is gathered for Prince Edward Island's employment openings (PEI EOI draw) to select and rank candidates who will best serve the island's labor market and economic needs.
The following are the requirements for eligibility to the Prince Edward Island PNP:
• To be eligible for the PEI Express Entry, Skilled Worker, and Critical Worker Streams, applicants had to achieve at least 65 points.

•The candidate must be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program, or Federal Skilled Trades Program, among other Federal Economic Immigration Programs.

You need to have had a PEI employer who supports your immigration and worked full-time for nine months in a row. Furthermore, you need to have a minimum of four months remaining on your work permit at the time you submit your Expression of Interest.
1. You graduated from a school other than PEI and hold a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).

2. As a result of your spouse's studies outside of Prince Edward Island, you have an open work permit.
