What is the Prince Edward Island PNP eligibility criteria?

Mentioned below is the eligibility criteria for the PEI PNP Express Entry Stream:

Federal Skilled Worker Requirements:

  • Applicants must be registered in the federal Express Entry pool and choose at least one of the three federal Economic programs:
  • Federal Skilled Worker
  • Canadian Experience Class
  • Federal Skilled Trade

Federal Skilled Workers Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a high school diploma or a degree.
  • Minimum one year of continuous full-time skilled work experience in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3.
  • Applicant must have language proficiency in English or French at CLB level 7.

Canadian Experience Class Requirements:

  • There is no minimum education requirement for applicants applying under CEC.
  • Minimum one year of full-time Canadian skilled work experience in the last three years in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3.
  • CLB level 7  OR 5 depending upon different NOC levels


What are Prince Edward Island PNP steps to apply?

 Step 1: Check the applicant's eligibility criteria for PEI PNP, since PEI PNP picks its applicants from the Express Entry Pool the applicants must be eligible for one of the following programs: Federal Skilled Workers, Federal Skilled Trade Program, and Canadian Experience Class.
Step 2: Create a Profile in the Expression of Interest (EOI) system. The profile remains active for six months.
Step 3: Get an Invitation to Apply (ITA), You will receive an email invitation if selected. The applicant has 60 days to apply.
Step 4: Prepare Your Application, and complete the provincial and federal forms listed in Appendix B.
Step 5: Submit Your Application, submit the requested documents within 60 days of receiving an invitation, and pay a $300 application fee along with the documents.

Step 6: If nominated by PEI, accept the nomination through the MyCIC account. Submit electronic PR application through MyCIC after being Invited to Apply by IRCC.

Step 7: Fly to Prince Edward Island with your Canada PR.
